Just trying out some new brushes in photoshop. ... Though, as usual, I've now forgotten which ones I used to do this. Hurrah for me! About 1hour on this.
Old and new stuff, the Captain america (not that you can tell) screencaps and the kid in the pirate hat are from earlier this year. The Lady Loki stuff is hot off the press, just quick sketches, one based on a scan from my sketchbook... as in my actual sketchbook.
Pinturas rapidas de Lady Loki de ayer y ante ayer, uno de ellos basado en un dibujo que hice en mi cuaderno, lo demas es de hace algun tiempo.
Quick sketch of Tyger tiger from Marvel, cause she just doesn't get enough love. Photoshop, 1 hour ...round about... more like two... heh I'm crap XD
The first of a series of quick sketches I going to (hopefully) be doing
(ha!) Stephanie Brown, and if you don't know who that is (especially by
now) then you reeeaally need to pick up Batgirl volume 3. About 25 minutes spent on this.
Batgirl is not impressed with you DC, not at all.
Another sketchdump because these are drawings that normally never get
seen because I don't think they're good enough to upload individually. All
together though... This is what I've up to lately. Chochi, que rapida has sido en mirar el blog... Pues ya ves en que he estado malgastando mi tiempo :D
Look at that! Some of it isn't actually fanart! Amazing!
Habeis visto? Eh? No solo hago fanart.
I've not done her justice, it's lost a lot of the similarities now I've finished with the copics.
May Rooney Mara forgive me.
Huzzah, corrections made. Here's hoping she doesn't look quite so much like a man anymore.
Que me decis; menos machorra?
A relatively quick digital painting (for me). Say hello to Pearl Jones,
one main characters from the brillaint comic series 'American Vampire'
...which I've read my way through in two days... and now wish I'd made it last longer.
Just a quick little harley sketch whilst I'm working on something else. I've also been busy with a painting competition. Depending on the results I might put up a photo or two. Better art soon to follow!
I hope...
My (poor) attempt at drawing the 11th Doctor, Matt Smith. This one of
those works where, once finished, all I can see are the mistakes. I'm
not as happy with it as I would have liked but I rarely am. I did this
for a cousin who is a huge fan of Doctor Who...
I hope he forgives me :D
OH! Look at that! It my 11th post too!
Niiiice.
OH! Look at that! It my 11th post too!
Niiiice.
This is another recent piece drawn for my happy-clappy fairy-loving
friend whom I somehow convinced to watch the Avengers with me. She's now
seen both Iron man films and Captain America. I'm seeing how far I can
go, maybe I can sneek Thor past her.
Also, getting the hang of my copic markers. Go me.
Aaaand... here we have more Joker doodles. These ones are more recent. So, this is how I see the Joker if they went through the cliche 'he's been turned into a child!' plot device. Damian too. I can't draw anything Batman without him popping up... Same with the Joker.
Demanding little so-and-so's
Here's another Whitechapel sketch. This one isn't as well done as the Phil Davis sketch, it's just a quick one. The wonderful Craig Parkinson as Johnny Kray... or maybe that's Jimmy... One of the Krays. You might recognise him from 'Misfits' ...if I've done good job drawing him that is.
Crappy black shading, huzzah!
Hello again people! I have returned after a week's absence. I've survived a week camping in Cornwall in typical English weather. I think I can now say; I can survive any camping experience.
Tents which aren't waterproof! Non-stop torrential rain! Battalions of kids I was supposed to be helping look after! Cold! Sinusitis! Throat infections! Catchy kid's songs with hand actions! Being kicked and slapped by my tent mate in her sleep! (thank you Lily) I've braved it all!
Anyhow, here is a little piece of my two favourite DC characters (the third being Arsenal) I can easily see the Gotham rouges daring each other to do this. Poison Ivy and Harley probably have to buy Joker his own ball pool now for doing it.
Damian would have tried to take Joker's hands off with his teeth.
Another brilliant ITV series that I really hope is going to have another series but it seems like they won't; Whitechapel.
This would be the unfappable DS Miles played by one of my favourite actors, the awesome Phil Davis. Normally accompanying his DI; Joe Chandler and when I say 'accompanying' I mean 'mother hen-ing'. No one can mother-hen like DS Miles. No one.
This series really needs a bigger fanbase... So does Phil Davis
This picture has been up on my deviantart account for quite awhile now but I love it so much, and that's so rare for me that i think it deserves to be repeated. Also, it's Damian. Come on! He's like a mini batman. With extra viciousness.
Just look at that brooding pose; the boy's a natural.
This is one of my very favourite crime series and one of the best crime-solving duos (yes, I watch it obssesively). Lewis and Hathaway get extra points for the Batman reference within the series. This would be 'boy wonder'; Sergeant James 'equine nine' Hathaway played by the masterful Laurence Fox.
Hathaway is not a number, Laura.
Batman related sketch dump. Spoiler alert (Are these still spoilers?) Ha! Spoiler. This is the
stuff that normally lies about my computer gathering file space.
My
favourite Robin and my favourite Batgirl; Damian Wayne and Stephanie Brown.
...also a random Human Torch...
Hello ladies and gentlemen of internet. This would be my first attempt at a blog and my first attempt at a post. Expect disasters! Conflict! Rambling! And possibly Art!
What will it be this time?
Ooh look! ART! We have been lucky.
