Si llevais un tiempo leyendo mi blog sabries que soy muy fan de Gambit y que estoy leyendome All New X-Factor. 
Pues resulta que lo han cancelado por falta de ventas. 
Estoy rabiando y dado que el anterior libro de Gambit se cancelo tambien por pocas ventas (todavia me duele!) me estoy temiendo que va a quedar relegado otra vez a personaje secundario durante mucho tiempo.
 Si quereis ayudar a que Marvel reconsidere la decision, uniros a #Save ANXF en twitter y comprad el comic online aqui. Las ventas digitales tambien se cuentan. Por favor, ayuda a que le renueve! Si lo habeis estado bajando o compartiendo, por favor compraroslo ahora. Es un comic divertido e interesante con muchisimo potencial. Hay tantas cosas que podrian ocurrir y facilmente podria convertirse en una histora enorme. Si estais hartos de ver a los mismo personajes haciendo las mismas cosas, por favor apoyad a X-Factor
If you've been following my blog for a while you may have noticed that I'm a big Gambit fan and that I've been reading All-new X-Factor. Well. Let me tell you a thing.
It's been cancelled due to low sales.*grinds teeth furiously*
I'm not a happy bunny, and, given that Gambit's previous book was cancelled for the same reason (still not over it!)  I'm starting to think that Gambit going to be relegated again to secondary charater staus for quite some time.
If you want to help towards getting Marvel to rethink it's decision, join #SaveANXF on twitter and buy the comic, you can get it online here. Digital sales also count. It's a fun, intresting series with so much potential. There's so many things that could happen and it could easily build up to something huge. Aren't you tierd of so many comics about the same characters? Here's something new, give it a chance. Please lend a hand!

Wuhey! este año volvere a estar en el salon de Imaginamalaga. Este viernes a partir de las 16:00 en el I.E.S Isaac Albeniz (Malaga), estare los tres dias y estare vendiendo postales de mi arte ademas de originales asi que venid a pedirme uno :D.
Los que seas fans del trabajo que hago con mis hermanos en los videos de Jayme Gutierrez, tambien sois mas que bienvenidos a asomaros a saludar o a charlar o tambien comprar un original de los personajes Jayme o un poster XD

Okay so, I've been busy, busy, busy. I've recieved a commision to do the tattoo designs for a short film. There are two main characters, both of them covered in tattoos. After reading the script a couple times I decided on the right styles to best represent the personatilies and mind frames of the two characters and started drawing. As they're not going to be actual tattoos I can be freer with the tecnique. There's a lot of tattoos, I'll be posting sections of the final images as I do them.

Vale, asi que, he estado ocupadisima. He recibido una comision para hacer los disenos de unos tatuajes para un corto. Hay dos personajes principales, los cuales estan cubiertos de pies a cabeza en tatuajes. Despues de leerme el guion un par de veces, decidi que estilo usar para mejor representar las personalidades y estados mentales de los dos personajes y empece a dibujar. Al no ser realmente tatuajes puedo ser un poco mas abierta con la tecnica. Hay un monton de tatujaes, ire subiendo detalles de ellos a medida que las vaya haciendo.
Todas estan hechas con mi increible Cintiq 13. Este es parte uno de los pertenecientes al hombre.

Vale, asi que, algunos de vosotros, queridos merodeadores , si es que en realidad existis, quizas sepais que hace algun tiempo me compre un Wacom Cintiq 13 hd. He estado usandolo durante bastante tiempo y crei que ya era hora de hablar de ello en mi blog.
He trabajado durante años con una tableta Wacom Bamboo one que es una tableta grafica buenisima con la que empezar. Sin embargo nunca fue natural para mi y siempre tardaba mas si tenia que pintar en el ordenador. Lo encontraba muy incomodo, prefiero mucho mas el metodo tradicional.
 Ahora, el Cintiq es muy, muy bueno. Es un proceso mucho mas natural, mas de una vez me he pillado a mi misma intentando quitar virutas de goma no exsistentes de la pantalla con la mano despues de borrar algo. Mi cerebro esta tan acostumbrado a la accion.
La precision esta muy bien. Hay algunos pequeños fallos cerca de los bordes de la pantalla pero no se notan donde importa. Es muy facil de recalibrar si te esta causando problemas.
 En otros blogs que he leido se quejan de la falta de de una barra deslizante para el zoom. La verdad, esto podria ser por que nunca he usado una barra de zoom antes, pero a mi esto no me ha causado dificultad alguna. Simplemente asigné los comandos de teclado para aumentar/reducir a dos de los botones laterales y Boom! problema solucionado.
Los botones laterales son fantasticos, y, hablando como alguien que es tremendamente vaga para personalizar su tecnologia (Le cambie el fondeo de pantalla a mi mobil nuevo, ya esta, todo lo demas esta tal cual me lo dieron. ¿Que? Ya dije que era vaga) de verdad necesitas ajustar estos botones. Hace que todo sea muchisimo mas facil y rapido. El menu radial es tambien algo hermoso y imediatamente asigné los commandos para mis herramientas mas usadas a ella.
Ahora, hay dos pegas que tengo con la Cintiq 13 que son, para mi, bastante importantes. La primera, no estoy segura si es verdaderamente un problema con Wacom o con Adobe Photoshop, pero es un problema que han tenido varias personas con las tabletas Wacom y Adobe a partir del CS3 (creo) y sigue presente.. Hay momentos en los que el driver falla y la medicion de presion se va a la porra, la goma de borrar y la pluma se intercambian durante un momento, el programa se cuelga,  hay un momento de retraso al pintar. Estoy tomando nota de los fallos a medida que van apareciendo. Pero todo viene del driver. Otra cosa es que al driver no le gusta que duremas el ordenador.
La segunda pega es como se conectan los varios cables a la tableta, es bastante fragil y el peso de los cables tira de las conexiones, asi que, es algo a lo que tenerle el ojo echado.

Si haces tu arte a ordenador o una gran parte de ella la creas en el ordenador, la Cintiq es algo que realmente deberias de considerar comprar. De verdad merece la pena. Te da el mismo control que con lapiz y papel, es verdaderamente increible, no puedo imaginarme como son el 22 HD y el 24.

Okay so, Some of you, my beloved lurkers, if indeed you exist, may know that a while ago I bought myself a Wacom Cintiq 13 hd. I've been working with it for quite a while now and I reckoned it was about time I talked about it on my blog.

I've worked for years now with a very basic Wacom Bamboo one tablet which is a great graphic tablet to start off with. However it was never natural for me and drawing on the computer always took longer. I found it very uncomfortable to do, I much prefer traditional medium.
However the Cintiq is really, really good. It's a much more natural process, more than once I've caught myself trying to brush non existant rubber shavings off the screen after rubbing something out. My brain is so accustomed to the action.
The accuracy is really good. There are some small issues near the edges of the screen but it's unoticeable were it matters.  It's very easy to recalibrate if it is causing you issues.

 Many people in other reviews I've read complain about the lack of a zoom slide bar. To be honest, this may be because I've never had a zoom slide bar, but I've not found this an issue at all. I just assigned the key commands for zoom in/zoom out to two of the side key and boom! problem solved.
The side keys are fantastic, and speaking as someone who is tremendously lazy about personalizing equipment ( I changed the wallpaper on my new mobile, that's it, everything else is just as it came. What? I said I was lazy) you definitely need to adjust these, it makes life so much easier and quicker. The radial menu is also a beautiful thing and I imediatley assigned my most used tools to it.
Now, there are two issues that I've have with the Cintiq13 which, for me, are quite important. The first I'm not sure if is truely a problem with Wacom or with Adobe Photoshop. There is, and has been a problem with Photoshop and Wacom tablets for a while now (i think people have been noticing it since CS3) and it's still present. There are some moments when the driver will fail and the pressure measure will disappear, the eraser and the pen will switch briefly, the program will crash, there will suddenly be a time lag, I'm keeping track of the issues as they appear. The driver doesn't take well to sleeping the computer either.

The second issue is the way the various cables connet to the tablet itself, it's quite fragile and the weight of the cables pull on the connections, so, it's something you need to keep an eye on.

If you do your art work on a computer or a large amount of it is created on a computer, the cintiq is something you really need to look into buying. It's well worth it. You get the same control as with pencil and paper, it's absolutely wonderful, I can only imagine what the 22 hd and the 24 for is like.

All-new Ghost Rider. Me encanta el diseño de Reyes, tanto como humano como del Espíritu de la Venganza.
Lo que no me gusta es cuando el artista le dibuja el traje como si fuera un mono de Spandex brillante. Tampoco me gusta cuando se lo ponen a Catwoman. De hecho, por qué no dejamos esa costumbre de poner a los superhéroes en Spandex, vale? Prefiero cuando llevan kevlar o algún tipo de armadura. Por otro lado, a mi me gustó Prometheus, no sé si eso invalida mi opinión sobre gustos.

I love Reyes' design both as a human and as the Spirit of Vengence. What I don't like is when the artist draws his suit like the typical shiny Spandex jumpsuit. I don't like it when they use it on Catwoman either. Actually, how about we just drop the habit of sticking every superhero in to a Spandex suit? I prefer it when they're wearing Kevlar o some kind of body armour. Then again I liked Prometheus, I don't know if that invalidates my opinion on taste.

Really quick sketch and another favourite of mine; Laura Kinney, X-23, Spoiler alert  if you don't know who she is. And if you don't know you reaaally need to find out.
In my head Laura looks much more like Wolverine, than they ever show in the comics. Pretty isn't a word you'd use to describe her, handsome would be more fitting. She's Logan's clone after all, of course she would look like him.

En mi cabeza Laura se parece muchisimo mas a Lobeza de lo que muestran en los comics. Bonita no es una palabra que usarias para describirla, apuesta (se puede decir en femenino? ahora si) seria mucho mas acertado. Despues de todo ella es la clon de Logan, por supuesto que se va a parecer a el.

Also... Gambit. My all time favourite snarky-hero-of-dubious-morals.
Alongside Wade Wilson of course, but Gambit came first.

Quizas estoy leyendome tambien All-new X-Factor, que esta poniendose realmente interesante (Warlock y Cypher! XD) Merece la pena echar un vistazo.
Y tambien... Gambito. Mi heroe sacastico-de-codigo-etico-dudoso favorito de todos los tiempos.

Pero, no, en serio. La ultima serie de Deadpool (o Masacre, ¬ ¬ ) esta muy pero que muy bien. Si os gustan los comics Marvel pero no quereis leeros los 27 tomos (Lo cual es un locura, que te pasa? Leetelo entero. Leetelo) por lo menos tendriais que echarle un vistazo al arco de "El bueno, el malo y el feo" que son solo cinco tomos y es increible. Te hacen un resumen al principio y aconsejo que lo leas si empezais con ese arco.

But, no, seriously now. The latest Deadpool run is really stupidly good. If you like Marvel comicsbut don't what to read the whole 27 issues (which is crazy, what is wrong with you? Read the whole thing. Read it), you should at least check out the "the good, the bad and the ugly" storyline, it's only five issues and it's fantastic. There's an introductory note at the start and I'd recommend reading it if you do start there.

Si... ha pasado bastante desde mi ultimo post... Pero, aqui teneis algo de lo que hice para imaginamalaga el año pasado, y tambien mis primeras imagenes creadas con la nueva Wacom Cintiq.
